Comedian Taylor Tomlinson to Host New Late-Night Show on CBS
Are you ready for some late-night laughs with a fresh new face? Well, get excited because comedian Taylor Tomlinson is set to shake up the late-night scene as the only female host in the US on CBS’s new show, After Midnight.
At just 29 years old, Tomlinson has already made a name for herself with two Netflix stand-up specials, Quarter Life Crisis and Look at You. Now, she’s ready to take on the late-night circuit and become the youngest host by more than 20 years.
With her popularity on social media, particularly TikTok, and her past appearances on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and at the Just for Laughs festival, Tomlinson is sure to bring a fresh and funny perspective to late-night TV.
The format of her new show, After Midnight, will be reminiscent of Comedy Central’s @midnight With Chris Hardwick, featuring a panel of comics. And with production company Funny Or Die, known for hits like Brockmire and Billy on the Street, behind the scenes, you can expect some hilarious moments.
Even Stephen Colbert, who will serve as an executive producer on the show, is excited about Tomlinson’s new gig. He announced the news on his show, saying they needed someone fun, likeable, young, and in touch with online trends – qualities that Tomlinson definitely possesses.
So mark your calendars for next year when After Midnight hits the airwaves after The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. It’s time to support female comedians and enjoy some late-night laughs with Taylor Tomlinson!
