Nick Swardson attributes getting booed offstage in Colorado to edibles, alcohol, and altitude

Comedian Nick Swardson blames alcohol and edibles for flop stand-up show in Colorado

Are you a fan of comedian Nick Swardson? Well, if you caught his recent stand-up show in Colorado, you might have been left disappointed. Swardson, known for his work in Adam Sandler productions and “Reno 911!,” faced a tough crowd at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek over the weekend.

According to reports, Swardson blamed alcohol and edibles for his less-than-stellar performance, where he failed to deliver his usual comedic impressions and was ultimately booed off stage. In a tweet the following day, he admitted to his mistake, saying, “Just casually woke up on TMZ. Travel tip: don’t drink and take edibles in high altitude. F—— brain diarrhea.”

Videos circulating on social media captured the awkward moments of the show, with Swardson struggling to connect with the audience and failing to deliver on his promises of impressions. The crowd grew restless, shouting and booing, until eventually, the lights came on and Swardson was escorted off stage.

While some attendees were disappointed by the abrupt ending of the show, others understood the decision to cut it short for the sake of the audience. The director of operations took the stage to apologize and assure ticket holders that refunds would be processed.

It’s always tough to see a beloved comedian struggle on stage, but hopefully, Swardson will learn from this experience and come back stronger in future performances. As for the fans in Beaver Creek, it looks like they’ll have to wait for Swardson to make it up to them. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story!
